Those Arizona Skies

What I imagine another planet must look like at dusk…

At Sea In the Desert

DSC_0051 copyThis power plant with the last sunset light behind it reminded me of a ship or oil tanker at sea…combined with the black of the passing storm and night already encroached, I loved the atmosphere of it and the feeling of foreboding.

The sky just blew on in

DSC_0109 copyI took a bunch of shots of the sky as it changed, I must have 10 totally different skies in 10 minutes. I love the mountains of New Mexico- and when my mom pointed out her whirlygig, it made the perfect silhouette. Silhouettes have always been something I was artistically drawn to- I paint them, photograph them, am endlessly fascinated by them.
