The Streets of Bisbee

Bisbee has become quite a little art town, with its beautiful homes, winding streets, and thousand staircases. It’s always cooler than the lower desert, and has some great restaurants and a brewery.

Perfect Light

The light here was just right- the range of colors, the pinks, the ripples in the sand. It’s such a beautiful place to shoot. I should have used a lower ISO though, it got a bit grainy.

White Sands Nightfall

The light was beautiful…the exposure was not quite right but the next one I’m posting was perfect. I still liked the footprints here and the blues of the sand.

GodBold

The lighting and mood couldn’t be any more perfect. I’m not sure what they did, but it’s right on the tracks and in ag country. Maybe they loaded up bold cows…

I took photos of the same place years ago and gave canvas prints of them as gifts. I think I like this one better.

Lighting strikes over Alpine, Texas during monsoon season

This has been my favorite actual burn of the man. The UFO structure beneath him burned forever and held its shape until the final roaring collapse. Pretty incredible. We watched at the very back of the crowd on top of an RV, away from the madness and the heat.

At Sea In the Desert

This power plant with the last sunset light behind it reminded me of a ship or oil tanker at sea…combined with the black of the passing storm and night already encroached, I loved the atmosphere of it and the feeling of foreboding.

Burn Baby Burn

I saw these guys on an RV in front of us on burn night 2013…I just ran across this in one of my folders and had forgotten all about it. Love, love, love everything about this shot and the story of how they’re all just laid back and watching from afar, while I watched from afar-ther. Away from all the craziness and the thousands of people down there as the Man burns. You can see the smoke and dust, flames and lasers in front of them.

After the Show

Or, it may have been before… I forget. This was one of the sexy ladies in the burlesque troop I did a few shows with back in New Mexico. The exposure in here was hard – and I didn’t get a nice clear focus either. Still cool because of the subject, I think.
