We made balloons and costumes out of paper bags, then put on a parade….of sad, pathetic poor little children. My siblings were lucky to have me around to come up with these ideas and keep them amused…I can only imagine how hard it was for my parents not to laugh as the 4-person parade marched by throwing candy…
Hey Look… there’s Little Penny! I have to go blow this up. Mom must be letting loose of some family pics…
There’s me, alright. I have most of these pics, actually. Once in a while I come across one I have to share 🙂
You always had the BEST imagination. I wish i still played and thought like a child, there is so much freedom living like that. i at times have to break myself of acting like a uptight mom and wife, whose thoughts are on bills and laundry. Seeing and living life as an adventure is how i want to live. i love seeing my kids create their fun out boxes. Last week they made cars and scooted around the house.
It’s amazing what a few days with no TV or video games will do for a kid’s motivation and imagination- I try to hang on to that kid part of me for sure. Those are the happiest times, being free and acting childish.
